Indiana Learning Evaluation Assessment Readiness Network (ILEARN) is the summative accountability assessment for Indiana students in grades 3 through 8 and high school biology. ILEARN measures student achievement and growth according to Indiana Academic Standards for English/Language Arts (grades 3 through 8), Mathematics (grades 3 through 8), Science (grades 4 and 6), and Social Studies (grade 5).
As a school accredited by the State of Indiana, St. Rose of Lima 3rd Grade students participate in the Indiana Reading Evaluation And Determination (IREAD) assessment to measure foundational reading standards through Grade 3. This is a summative assessment which requires the evaluation of reading skills of students in Grade 3 to ensure that all students can read proficiently before moving to Grade 4.
As a school accredited by the State of Indiana, St. Rose of Lima participates in Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress Plus (ISTEP+). The ISTEP+ End of Course Assessment (ECAs) is a criterion-referenced assessment developed specifically for students completing instruction in Algebra.
