Happy New Year!

Today we begin the second half of the school year!!!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family.  Thank you for all of the thoughtful Christmas gifts. I’m looking forward to the new year and seeing all the ways your children will continue to learn and grow!

Our focus this week will be on the Seasons (Winter), months (January), and snow and cold weather.  Our letter of the week if Ff.  We are also going to be reviewing shapes.  We talk about them throughout the year, but we want to make sure your child knows the basic shapes–circle, square, rectangle and triangle.

Progress Reports:  The Preschool Progress Reports will be coming home this week on Friday.  I would like to meet with parents after that to discuss your child’s progress.  I will send home the available times and hopefully we can meet before or after school sometime this month.

Tomorrow we will be gaining a new student.  Her name is Heidi.  Welcome, Heidi!

Our Bible verse for the month is, “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31.

Happy Birthday this week to Lucy – Jan. 1, Annabelle – Jan. 10.  Over break it was Forester’s birthday – Dec. 22.  Happy Birthday to all of you!

Have a great week, everyone!  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
