The Lion Cubs had fun with all of our pumpkin and shapes activities last week.  This week we are going to be busy!!! We are starting our alphabet activities this week.  We will be learning all about the letter Aa!  We are also reading more about Saints this week.  Hope you enjoyed the crowns that the kids brought home on Friday.  The kids were really excited about those!

We have a new prayer and Bible verse this month.  Our Bible verse is:

Our prayer for the month is the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.  This is a powerful prayer.  I’m not sure the kids in three year old class will be able to remember it, but we will try!!! The children should know that St. Michael is a powerful warrior angel who fights for God.

Now that the weather is turning cooler, please remember to have your children wear warm coats and hats (and gloves or mittens, if needed).  Our school will have outside recess as long as the temperature (including wind chill) is above 25 degrees.  It’s not that long (less than 30 min.) and they really need the exercise and fresh air!
