Hello Parents,

Hope everyone had a wonderful and restful fall break!

This week the children will be on the letter Hh and the number 9. For their art craft for the letter Hh, the children made hearts and glued them on the capital H.

We added two new sight words to our list this week (I, is). The children who will participate this week for the letter Hh show and tell are listed below. Please help your child find one item from home to show the class this Friday, October 25.

Please check the information under DATES TO REMEMBER; the children are having special dress days for Drug Free Life Week. This is an opportunity for you the parents to talk to your children about drugs (of course on a preschool level). Attached to this newsletter is a helpful way to get the conversation started. It’s never too early to educate your children on drugs or any other dangers out there in the world. Having a conversation at their level about being safe helps children feel safe and secure in their world. Knowledge and education to children is empowerment and feeling safe and secure in their environment.
