The homework for the week is a “What’s in my egg” project. Please look in your child’s folder for details.
I am testing March sight words this week. I already got through about half of the class today, and I am super impressed! Several kiddos either got all of them correct, or only missed a few. WAY TO GO! I am really seeing a lot of kiddos show me that they are ready for First Grade!
All year, our class has been trying to fill up our marble jar to earn a party. We are only 2 marbles away from a party! Please encourage your child to be on his/her best behavior so that we can earn our party! 😊
If you haven’t already, please see the link below for information about the upcoming Annual St. Rose Auction, and please considering donating. Thank you to those who have already signed up for something!
We have a few Scholastic orders ready to submit, but before I submit, I will send home the May Scholastic book order form too (on Thursday). This will be the last book order form of this school year. I want to make sure I submit it with enough time that everyone will receive them before school is out. The May book order form has a few books about First Grade that the kiddos may enjoy. The code to order online is R8KCM. I will submit all orders by the end of next week.
Below is a preview of some of the things we’ll be doing this week and what we have been working on:
We are finishing up a few dinosaur things, and then we are moving on to all things Easter!
The focus this week is on number sense and addition. We took a number writing test today.
