Our little Lion Cubs have been very busy preparing for Christmas!  On Monday we had a visit from Mrs. Claus!  She read a book to the class “How Do Dinosaurs Say Merry Christmas?”  The children were very good listeners! Then she let us ask questions and get our pictures taken with her!

On Wednesday we had a little Christmas party.  We had green grapes and red strawberries to celebrate the Christmas colors!  We also had some yummy sugar cookies and milk!  We played some little Christmas games and also watched “Charlie Brown Christmas”.

Thursday we dismiss at 1:00.  Preschool should be picked up at 12:45.

There will be no school from Friday, Dec. 20 until Tuesday, Jan. 8.  Our new assistant is Mrs. Nancy McInich.   She will begin in January.  Thanks to Mrs. McKinney, who was here from August until mid-December, and a huge thank you to Miss Eastham, who helped out these past two weeks!  Miss Eastham will still be at our school, but she will be helping in kindergarten, so the kids will be happy to see her around!

Thank you for all of the snacks you sent in to our classroom for December!  We are all set for now and I will let you know when we need to replenish in the new year!

Thank you, too, for the Christmas cards and treats you sent in!  Your children are so sweet and it is a joy to be their teacher!

Here is our class with Mrs. Claus.  Have a wonderful Christmas with your dear little ones!  This time is so precious!  God bless!
