The Lion Cubs are busy making Advent and Christmas preparations. We have and Advent paper chain that we are going to be using all month long. Each day of December, we pull a link off of the chain. Inside the link is a little poem and each poem has a letter of the alphabet and tells part of the Christmas story.
We have also been working on Advent wreaths and Christmas trees. We have some other surprises we are working on but you will have to wait until closer to Christmas to find out!!
This Saturday morning is Breakfast with Santa at St. Rose. Flyers were sent home with your child and also information is in the Roar. You can still sign up at the door on Saturday morning before 9 a.m.
Remember that the Lion Cub class will be singing Christmas songs for the parents on Monday, Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. in our classroom. We hope all the parents can come!
We will be having a new assistant in the Lion Cubs in the afternoon. Mrs. Lesley Bobish will be coming into our classroom to assist from 1-2:30 p.m. each day. Mrs. Langferman will still be teaching in the mornings and Mrs. Richards will be assisting all day. We now have as many as 15 Lion Cubs when everyone is here, so it is important to have enough hands to help!
Next week is Book Fair at St. Rose. If you want to shop for books for your child, please stop by Monday through Friday next week. You may find some great gifts there! We will not be taking the Lion Cubs down as a class, so please do not send in money.
Thanks for entrusting your child to us at St. Rose!
Mrs. Langferman and Mrs. Richards
