Lion Cubs have been working on our manners this week. We’ve read books and watched videos on manners. They also learned the sign language for “please” and “thank you”! We wait our turns, we ask, we share. All of these are ways to practice our good manners.
We are also continually working on covering our coughs and sneezes! We also use lots of hand sanitizer and/or hand washing. Tis the season!
We are talking about Thanksgiving all month long. We’re working on a project for you! We also talked about what we are thankful for. We will be continuing to talk about Thanksgiving next week and learning a Bible verse about being thankful. “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, his love lasts forever.” Ps. 118:1.
If you haven’t had a chance to sign up for our Thanksgiving Blessing Basket, there are still slots open. If all the slots are filled, you can always add something. Hunger is reality for many families, not just at the holidays. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Please bring all food by next Friday, Nov. 17. Sharing what we have with others is a great way to teach gratitude to our little ones. Thank you for your generosity!
Remember, there is no school on Wed., Thursday or Friday, Nov. 22-24.
Have a great weekend!
