WOW! Can you believe we are winding down the last weeks of school?! I’ve had such a good year with your child(ren) and we’ve really grown a lot- and I don’t mean just inches and feet! Quite truthfully, we have made great progress in both Social Studies and Math (and the other classes, as well) this year. I hope you’ve noticed a difference, too. I think we are due for a break, but hope your child(ren) will continue to stay sharp in all areas with extra practice. Join the library summer reading club, or download a free math app! Let me know if I can help, too!
*VIP forms and money were due today, and unfortunately I have not received very many. If your family intends on having a guest stay for lunch on Friday, it is important that the school knows ahead of time so that we may plan accordingly. I would hate for anyone to go hungry! I will send home another copy with the class today, just in case you can’t find the original. Thanks for your help!
Students in grade K-7 need to wear a school uniform, and since we are also celebrating May Crowning each child is asked to bring a flower to honor our beloved Mary.
Visitors can begin registering in the atrium starting at 9:00am. Mass begins at 10:00, followed by lunch and special program.
***Children will be allowed to leave with their grandparents or VIPs following the program. VIP’s must pick the children up from our classroom after the program. Students who are not leaving will remain with me until normal dismissal time at 2:50. Extended care and buses will run as usual. If your child will be leaving with their VIP after the program, please send me a note or an e-mail so I can make note of it.
You may have seen the various blogs and emails about our Wild West Dinner Auction! Tickets are on sale now! Grab them while you can! Also, students were given a packet of information about the numerous raffle items. Please help our school by selling 1 or 100 raffle tickets! This is our BIGGEST and BEST fundraiser of the year! Your continued support is most appreciated! See the school blogs for more information, and share “us” on Facebook with all your friends!
