HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!
May your troubles be less
And your blessings be more.
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door.
Scholastic Book Orders
Book orders are due NO LATER than Monday, March 20th. If you plan on ordering books, please send a check (NO CASH PLEASE) in an ENVELOPE by the due date. Please do NOT make your checks out to St. Rose. Your check should be made out to Scholastic Book Clubs. If you need me to keep your order a surprise (Easter gift, birthday gift, etc.), please note this on the outside of the envelope and I will contact you when I receive the order. You may also order on-line by logging on to www.scholastic.com (click on Reading Clubs) and enter my code GVL8B.
Shortly after returning from spring break we will begin incubating chicken eggs in the Kindergarten classroom. It takes about 21 days for the chicks to hatch. Mr. Boring has offered to drive to Purdue again this year to pick up our eggs on April 11, which means the “expected due date” for our chicks to hatch will be around May 2 or 3. More information to come as we get closer to the start date. The children are very “egg”cited!

*I will begin checking March/April goals (final goal sheet of the year) shortly after we return from Spring Break. I have 2 students who have accepted the final challenges. Please be sure to let me know if you would like for your child to try the challenges. If they get ALL of their monthly goals, but miss a “challenge” it does not keep them from getting their goal sheet. The challenges are EXTRA!
*Students are allowed to wear uniform shorts once we return from Spring Break.
*There will be NO April snack calendar. I think we have enough in our “extra pile” to get us through for now.
*Library books are due every Friday.
*Please be sure to return the class foot book the next day when your child brings it home.
*Please be sure you are checking out the St. Rose website frequently to keep up to date on all that is going on at St. Rose School.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

*Thanks for your continued help with the surprise bucket! The children are doing much better at writing and reading their sentences when it’s their turn!
*Thanks for your help with our daily snacks!
*Thanks for all you do!
