This Monday is our final Math Counts meeting.

Tuesday is an out of uniform day if students wear red, pink, or purple.

I have several students missing work. Please check Jupiter for missing assignments.

Here is what we are doing this week:

7th math and 7th Prealgebra: We are finishing up scale factor and similar figures. I hope to quiz next week. We are also reviewing.

8th Prealgebra: We will look at real life meaning for y-intercept and slope, as well as scatterplots and line of best fit. We will test over functions and graphing unit next week.

Algebra: See 8th Prealgebra. We will start our quadratics unit either late this week or next week.

6th Science: We will review material from earlier this year and begin our moon unit.

7th Science: We will quiz over photosynthesis and cellular respiration on Thursday. Students can use quizlet and the flashcards from class that we made. They also need to know the functions of the chemical compounds we learned about. We will also begin learning about diffusion and osmosis. Students should be completion Part 2 of our Inquiry project. It is due on February 28. There are several components.

8th Science: We are finishing up our genetics unit this week and will have our study guide this week. Our test will be next week.
