The Lion Cubs have had a good week.  We are getting ready to celebrate Catholic Schools Week so here is a “heads up” on what we are doing!

Sunday is our OPEN HOUSE from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.  Please stop by and see the classrooms.  Bring a friend and spread the news of our wonderful school!

Monday is PAJAMA DAY.  Students are allowed to wear pajamas to school this day.

Tuesday is CRAZY BACKWARDS/INSIDE-OUT DAY.  Students can wear mismatched clothes and maybe even inside out and backward.  Just remember that preschoolers have a difficult time with buttons and zippers and snaps on regular days so maybe if you are going to do backwards, try sweatpants instead!

Wednesday is TIE-DYE DAY.  If you don’t have tie-dye (who does?) just wear something colorful!

Thursday is FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM DAY.  Students can wear something from their favorite sports team.  No pressure, but I like PURDUE!

Friday is SPIRIT DAY. Wear a St. Rose shirt or Blue and Gold and jeans.

Friday night is our Chili Supper at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the 8th grade Punk-N-Rock at 7 p.m.  This is our annual Lip Sync that the 8th graders put on under the direction of 8th grade parents.  Proceeds go to their Washington, D.C.  field trip.

In the classroom, we will continue with our Alphabet letters.  We will talk about the letter Cc and make a C craft.  We will have Art on Monday and Music on Wednesday.  We pray every day!  We pray at morning announcements, snack time, circle time, lunch time and at the end of the day.  This is one of the best things about being in a Catholic School!

Remember, if there is inclement weather, check to see if Franklin Community Schools are open or if they are on a 2 hour delay.  We follow their schedule.

Have a great week!
