TEACHER NOTES –

**Several of the classes will be going to Roncalli for a production of “Annie” on Thursday, Nov. 17.  If you would like to go and can take at least 4 children, please let me know ASAP.  I only have room for 4 adults, so I will take the first 4 parents that I hear from. REMEMBER, you must have your SAFE AND SACRED / BACKGROUND check completed.  Students will be leaving around 11:30 and will be back by dismissal.  *On a side note, I will not be here that day, so Mrs. Tieken will be “in charge” of the 3rd grade class for me.  However, I will be getting the drivers and students figured out, but if there is an issue, Mrs. Tieken will take charge.

**I am not sure if I have shared this or not, but I wanted to share with you a website that we use in the computer lab that will link you to several other websites.  This way you just have to remember one.  The website is www.portaportal.com.  Once there, on the right side, log in as “guest” with the password being “kdinkel”.  This is a great way for the kids to practice math facts with the games and websites we use in computer lab.  These should all be “safe” websites, but please let me know if you ever see something that concerns you.  I have used this websites for many years, and haven’t had trouble, but you never know with the internet!

**Wednesday, Oct. 26 will be our PINK DAY for Cancer Awareness.  For a donation of any amount, students may wear Pink or Purple and be out of uniform.  All the money collected will go to the American Cancer Society.
