The Lion Cubs have had a good week. We talked about apples this week. Hazel brought in apple slices for our snack. Thanks, Hazel!!
We are still talking about fall and the leaves changing colors. We also added black to our color train and our paper chains. Hopefully the paper chains got home without getting too smashed down in your child’s book bag. Please limit the extra toys in the book bag because we don’t let them get the toys from home out at school.
We also made spider webs with black yarn and paper plates. All the little ones did a good job with this. Thanks to Mrs. Hofmeister for helping out with our project!
Next week we start working on shapes. Our first shape will be the circle! We will also talk about pumpkins.
Wednesday, Oct. 26 is pink/purple Cancer Awareness Day at school. You may send in $1 (or any amount) to donate to the American Cancer Society.
Thanks for entrusting your child to us at St. Rose!
