On a scale of 1 to 10, our next shining star rated St. Rose School a 1,000,000,000! While we couldn’t agree more that our school is pretty special, we have to admit Riley rates a 1,000,000,000 plus 1!
Need a hug? Need a laugh? Need an errand ran? The St. Rose teachers know exactly who is up for the task! And that would be our shining star Riley. We’ve had the pleasure of knowing and loving Riley since her days in Mrs. Boring’s Kindergarten class. Filled with spunk and creativity, Riley took it upon herself to start a school newspaper. She commented, “While it might have been a bit of a failure, Ms. Hammond helped me try to achieve my goals.” And that’s not all! During her 8th grade year, her class needed to raise funds for a special trip to Washington, D. C., and Riley got right to work initiating, planning, and running several different fundraisers. We are definitely proud of her efforts and know she will continue to be a leader at Roncalli High School!
As LIONS at St. Rose School, we pride ourselves on being one BIG family! Being a thriving, yet small school in the Franklin community our students have numerous opportunities to make lasting friendships of any age, become role models for others, and become leaders & innovators in the 21st century. Riley said it best, “It’s like having 175 siblings all the time. We might not get along all the time, but we all care for each other.” We couldn’t agree more!
Everyone at St. Rose School is proud of you, Riley! Your legacy of serving Christ through serving others will not soon be forgotten! We look forward to seeing your name in all the newspapers across the land! Be sure to stop in St. Rose School to share your good deeds!
