Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, the truth;
Where there is doubt, the faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
Week of December 8 through December 11
Religion– All things Advent. The Advent chains didn’t make it. Too much Camp prep and other things. We do have an Advent study guide and we will be adding to it as the days go on. We will have several assignments over the guide before the 18th so it would be smart to study nightly.
We are in charge of the Mass this Thursday December 10th. Parts have been passed out please practice. Change in Mass time…it will begin at 8:15.
Science-We will be reviewing and testing how skeletons are used to help compare organisms, describe evidence scientists consider to compare and classify organisms of the past and reasons organisms can become extinct. Our test will be next Wednesday December 16th. Ask them to share their study guide. Sorry I printed the wrong date last week. Thanks for noticing and asking.
Social Studies– What do you know about the mounds in Indiana? Your child knows plenty. Ask them to tell you about them. Test coming Thursday December 17.
Math- Patterns in multiplication and division.
Reading– One more Gilly activity. We will watch Second Hand Lions to compare and contrast the lives of the main characters who have a lot in common. Beginning this week we will read informational text. This is non fiction work. Our vocabulary words are words with more than one meaning.
