REMINDERS AND DATES TO REMEMBER:
Please remember to put your child’s name in their coats, hats, scarves, etc. With colder weather and winter approaching, we have a total of 31 preschoolers and it is difficult to remember whose stuff is who’s. The children sometimes can’t remember their own stuff. Also, please make sure the children are wearing socks with their shoes and no more wearing shorts to school until after spring break.
Mark your calendar for our Preschool Christmas Carols
Date: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18 @ 10.00AM
IN THE PLC
This is a normal school day. The children will come to school as they always do on Friday, December 18. They will have an option to leave after the program with their parents or other guest for the day due to no Extended Care after school on Friday, December 18.
All is welcome to this cute little performance performed by Kindergarten Bound and Lion Cub Preschoolers! The program is about 15-30 minutes and the children will sing songs they have learned in music with Mrs. Langferman.
The children can wear their Christmas best for their program and if you want to take them after the program to begin your Christmas holiday a little earlier, please let me know so I can put your child on the list. This will keep me organized on who is staying and who will leave with their parents or other guest. If your child does stay, please send in extra clothes for them to change into, I don’t want their pretty clothes to get messed up.
We will dismiss at regular time (2:30pm) and please note Extended Care is closed. If your child is normally Extended Care, you will need to make arrangements to pick them up at 2:30pm on Friday, December 18.
Kindergarten Bound Parents:
The children are on the letter Jj this week. We are having more than half the class not bringing anything for show-n-tell that starts with the letter of the week. Please note this is part of the children’s academics and it is important for them to look for one item that starts with the letter of the week and to be able to tell the class about their show-n-tell.
Show-n-tell is very important for their language skills and remembering at least two things to tell the class about their show-n-tell. Please help your child to remember to bring in their show-n-tell on Fridays.
The children can wear their costumes to class on Friday, December 30. If they are staying all day, please send in extra clothes for them to change into. . Please make sure their costume is bathroom friendly.
Lion Cub Parents:
The children are learning to trace their name, learning to recognize their name and we are learning about top, middle and bottom.
The children can bring their costumes to school and I will help them change into them for their afternoon class time. If your child comes to school at 12:00, they can wear their costume to school. Please make sure their costume is bathroom friendly.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Have a great day,
