6th Math: This week, we are working on greatest common factor, least common multiple, comparing and ordering fractions and decimals, and writing equivalent fractions.

7th Math: This week, we are working on graphing solutions to inequalities, checking solutions to equations and inequalities, and will review how to solve one-step equations and inequalities.

Prealgebra: This week, we are finishing up equations and inequalities with variables on both sides. We will write each from word problems, as well as solve equations with no solution or infinite real solutions. Students will also solve algebraic proportions using equations.

Algebra: Students will solve systems of equations using linear combination. They will also solve system that have no solution or infinitely many solutions. We will also write systems from word problems and solve them.

6th Science: This week, we will work on creating data tables and graphs in Google Sheets and Docs. We will also begin looking at levels of classification and vocabulary that lead us to our next major unit on energy in the environment and biomes.

7th Science: We are finishing up working with data and graphs in Google Sheets and Docs. We will begin looking at rocks and the rock cycle, as well as working with scientific conclusions. Students have been assigned two activities in Google Classroom that are due this week.

8th Science: Students are finishing up working with data and graphs in Google Sheets and Docs. We are also going to begin comparing characteristics of ionic and covalent bonds.

*I need to know which 7th and 8th graders are interested in Science Fair by Wednesday!
