Week of October 5 through October 9
Religion– Respecting and caring for God’s creation is at the top of our list this week. That falls perfectly into the Catholic Church’s observation of Right to Life Sunday.
Science-We will be exploring how skeletons are used to help compare organisms. Describe evidence scientists consider to compare and classify organisms of the past and reasons organisms can become extinct
Social Studies-We will be studying Indiana’s early inhabitants human and nonhumans. Fossil finds and regions where they are located.
Math- Rocket Math will be coming to our room on a daily basis. I will let you know when we will be starting. Closing out chapter 2. We will have a test on Friday.
Reading– Gilly is really struggling with liking her teacher. This week we will identify explore how she deals with all the new emotions, and feelings she is up against. Gilly also begins plotting how to get to California to see Courtney.Students will share their points of view toward Gilly and we will draw conclusions as to how they could help Gilly cope.
