What grades does St. Rose of Lima offer?
St. Rose educates youth in grades preschool-8. Both the elementary (PreK-4) and middle school (5-8) are located in the same building, on the same campus. The elementary is physically separated from the middle school and middle school students have their own lockers. St. Rose of Lima middle school has its own student activities. Is tuition assistance provided?
Tuition assistance is available to qualified families. The process for determining tuition assistance is fair and confidential. Read more about the tuition assistance process.

Is the school accredited?
Yes, St. Rose of Lima Catholic is fully accredited through the State of Indiana and the North Central Commission for Accreditation and School Improvement.

Do you have a diverse campus?
Yes. Students attend St. Rose from schools throughout Johnson County and surrounding areas. 15 percent of students are non-Caucasian. 62% receive some type of aid—either SGO, state voucher, or St. Rose aid.

Does the school follow a yearly calendar similar to public schools in the area?
The calendar is very similar to the Franklin Community Schools calendar. Spring break and Christmas vacation usually coincide with public school vacations.

Is the campus a closed campus?
Yes, once students arrive at school they are to remain on campus the entire school day unless they have a pre-arranged, excused reason to leave. Students are not allowed to leave campus for lunch.

Do students have to be Catholic to attend St. Rose?
No. St. Rose is a Catholic school, however, we welcome students of all faiths who desire a rigorous college preparatory education in a Christian based environment.

What options are available for lunch?
Students may either bring lunch from home or order hot lunch from a weekly menu.

Does the school have a dress code?
Yes, the students at St. Rose adhere to a dress code that requires them to wear attire that is clean and modest. Boys and girls may not wear t-shirts or otherwise inappropriate tops. Students are not allowed to wear jeans, except on published “NUT” days (usually twice a month.) For more specifics, visit the school policies page.

Is transportation provided?
Bus transportation is provided for St. Rose students in the morning and afternoon. Bus Transportation is scheduled through the Franklin Community Schools for more information please call 317-346-8770.

Do you have before and after school care?
Yes, St. Rose Extended Care program is offered from 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM for a small fee. Learn more about extended care here.
