Thank you for sending in the Easter egg and clues.  I loved guessing along with the students.  We had some great clues!  Next week I will be sending home a Spring Break packet to work on.  Students who return the completed packet after Spring Break will receive a special prize.

This week we will have 2 church services.  All are welcome to attend!  We will have a prayer service on Holy Thursday in the church at 8:30. During this prayer service Fr. Steve will wash the feet of 9 students (K-8; Aiden will do it for Kindergarten) and 3 staff members.  On Good Friday, our 8th grade class will present “Mary’s Way of the Cross” at 12:15 in the church.  All are welcome to attend!  I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!

Our class is in need of Clorox wipes and baby wipes if you would like to donate any of these items.  I believe we have enough of everything else to last us through the end of the year.  Thank you!

April snack calendars were sent home last week.  Please let me know if you did not receive it.

Math:  We are going to work with both addition and subtraction for the rest of the school year.  We will continue working with measurement also.

Writing: Drawing real life pictures with 3-star coloring (colors make sense, no white spaces, staying in the lines) and using labels.  We are now trying to write several full sentences.  We are working on sounding out words, starting sentences with capital letters, ending with a sentence stopper, and proper spacing between words.
