CrAzY KIC-IT update!

Last week our students had the chance to participate in a really neat opportunity!  Not only was it a fun day to come out of uniform, but it was a fantastic way to help a local Johnson County organization called KIC-IT (Kids In Crisis- Intervention Team http://www.kic-it.org/).  This group help teens and young adults who are in transitional periods of their life.

Our St. Rose Student Council initiated a NUT-Day at school, and requested that students bring in at least a $1 donation to help out!  Boy, oh boy, did many of our students go above and beyond that request!   At last count, we raised over $220 for KIC-IT!

In 2003, I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University. In 2005, I received my Master of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. I have been the 5th grade teacher at St. Rose School since 2004. vhammond@stroselions.net
